Apple and IBM today announced the launch of the first round of IBM MobileFirst apps for enterprise iOS users. The apps are available exclusively for iPhone and iPad and offer the sorts of key features businesses demand, like additional layers of security, embedded analytics and other core enterprise processes. The apps can also be managed and deployed via IBM’s cloud services. The first round of apps cover a range of sectors, including travel and transportation, banking and financial markets, insurance, retail, telecom and government.
