Facebook users, get ready for a many more autoplay videos. The company today announced that ‘eligible’ video advertisements for mobile apps can now play automatically on Facebook’s mobile apps. Although video ads have been available on the mobile apps before, automatic playback makes a big difference. Previously users could easily ignore them, but now there’s a much larger chance one of them will catch someone’s eye, particularly given the ever-increasing amount of users checking their social feeds on mobile.
