Chat app Yik Yak adds a map to let you browse anonymous conversations around the world
Yik Yak, an anonymous chat app that has gained popularity among the college set, lets you track, view and contribute to conversations and posts without having to divulge personal information. An update, released today, adds a new mapping feature to the app’s Peek function that makes it easier to view posts in far-flung locations. The update lets users “peek” into any local area worldwide by dropping a pin on a map and viewing that location’s current Yik Yak feed.
