Ouya is bringing its games platform to Xiaomi’s smart TVs and set-top boxes
Xiaomi may be China’s top smartphone vendor based on the last quarter, but it also offers smart TVs and set-top boxes. Those latter products have caught the interest of US games company Ouya, which is planning to bring its games platform to them, Reuters reports. Update: Ouya has confirmed the deal on Twitter. Ouya CEO Julie Uhrman told Reuters that gaming could give Xiaomi an edge over other smart TV rivals.
