Google Now begins suggesting new calendar events based on your Gmail inbox
Google Now is making your calendar that little bit smarter and more proactive after the service began testing a feature that creates calendar entries based on information in your Gmail inbox — as spotted by Android Police. So, for example, if you’ve been emailing friends about catching up one night after work this week, the new Google Now feature can pluck that information and Gmail and create a card that suggests adding the date to your calendar.
