Samsung is getting into the curated video space with news that it has acquired social-video startup Shelby.TV. The TNW2012 Startup Rally winner posted a blog announcing its acquisition by the electronics giant. The startup had built a video curation service that grabs content from YouTube, Vimeo, Hulu, Blip, and videos shared by your friends on social media and created a custom “channel” for users.
